Deed Transfers


On May 1, 1972 The Four Tribe Corp. sold both parcels to Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc. Carolyn M. Harris signed the deed as President of The Four Tribe Corp. and W. A. Rawl signed as its secretary. Earnestine McClung signed for to Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc. Total consideration $72,000. (Deed Book 270, Page 157)


On November 30, 1977 Eugene and Earnestine McClung and Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc. sold the two parcels to L.I.F.C.O., Inc. Ivan William Heath signed for L.I.F.C.O., Inc. Total consideration $355,000. (Deed Book 315, Page 209).


On May 1, 1979, L.I.F.C.O. sold the properties to Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc. Ivan William Heath signed as President of L.I.F.C.O. and Earnestine McClung signed for Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc. Total consideration $0). (Deed Book 328, Page 65).


On September 25, 1980, Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc. sold the properties to Andrew and Judith McClung. The deed was acknowledged by Eugene McClung as President of Camp Shaw-Mi-Del-Eca, Inc.

Total consideration $290,000. (Deed Book 340, Page 103).


Earlier deeds refer to conveyances of the “larger part of the island.” I am not sure what that meant. Current Greenbrier County property tax maps show the island as being one parcel.
